Kingsand & Cawsand

B&B Weekend Stay

 19th-22nd April 2024

or

 26th-29th April 2024

This is a chance to come and stay at our amazing location and have a self directed weekend instead of a fully planned out one. The accommodation will be offered on a B&B basis and everyone will arrive on the same day and stay over the duration of the weekend. Only Breakfast will be included but there will be the chance to go out for dinner together (or not) based on what people want to do. There will be yoga and massage offered at an additional cost and walks can be planned in a group or alone.

You can really taylor the weekend to suit your requirements.

Cornwall

Cornwall is a large gem in the crown of the English countryside. Known for its vast expansive beaches and stunning shoreline, the sea really is the largest pull of this beautiful region in the UK. With turquoise waters and inviting temperatures, those brave enough to swim can't help but feel refreshed and cleansed. For the wild swimmers out there this is the perfect location for an early morning dip, and an afternoon one too for that matter.

Kingsand and Cawsand

This used to be the border line between Devon and Cornwall but these days they both sit firmly on Cornwalls territory. You can swim in the sea, paddle board, kayak or take a hike down the coastal path - all from the doorstep of our beautiful venue. Or you can meander around the quaint streets of Kingsand, read a book on the beach or stop for a coffee in one of the cute little cafes or the local deli. The churches and architecture can be admired on an afternoon stroll or you can venture off further a field to reach an ancient chapel on Rame head or visit a 13th century church that is still fully functional and well loved. Rame head is a wild and windswept headland with amazing views and a truly magnificently wyld feeling about it.

Kingsand is easily accessible by train to Plymouth and then a short ferry over to the headland. Making it an easy journey compared to some Cornish ventures. If driving, there is a car ferry over to Torpoint which cuts off the last bit of the drive. You can drive around if you don't have good sea legs but it adds another 45 mins onto the journey. You can truly escape the hustle and bustle and be very remote for the weekend and then still make it back for work easily after the weekend.

Come and explore, relax and let your hair down into the wind. Be kissed by the Cornish sea and leave with saltwater in your hair.

Yoga with Laura Grace

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.....

After nearly 11 years of practice Laura Grace left the Ashtanga Vinyasa 'label' of practicing yoga. Still following the method and sequence but as set out by her inner teacher and not an external one. After the Ashtanga world was rocked, after injuring herself over and over by trying to force a method that did not work for her body, after being hurt by adjustments that worked against her body and not with it, after giving her authority away one too many times..... she left. Quietly and contently. She went her own way......

When she realised that you can still keep practicing and following what you believe in. When she realised it was her practice and no-one else's. When she understood that she knew her body and what was going on with it better than any other teacher. When she reclaimed her yoga practice exactly as it was.....

She finally realised that a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.....

Laura Grace is now a certified non-traditional, non-dogmatic, non rule orientated leader of her own yoga... and she teaches people to do the same. To BE their own teacher.

Daily schedule:

8.00 am Morning Yoga - Dynamic and strong to get the day started (optional)

10.30am Brunch - Post yoga brunch to fuel the day ahead
