Come exploring with us on the breath taking Isle of Skye! Skye is a stunning island located off the west coast of Scotland, and it's filled with natural wonders and fascinating history. One of the most famous landmarks on the island is the Old Man of Storr (above) a huge rock formation that towers over the landscape and provides stunning views. The island is also home to the Fairy Pools, crystal-clear pools and waterfalls that look like something out of a fairy tale.

There are Lochs and, being an island, it is obviously surround by the sea. There are also mountains every which way you look. There is the old man of Storr, The Quairaing, the red Cuillin and the stunning Black Cuillin ridge that runs for a staggering 8 miles across its high ridge which dominates the landscape on the south/mid of the island. The property that we shall be staying in is right on the waters edge so for those brave enough for wild swimming they can dip right outside the doorstep.

We will hike around parts of the island that are off the beaten track - that the majority of tourists miss altogether. Old abandoned villages, secret nooks and cranny’s; hidden gems that most people pass by on the tourist path. Having a central base we can access some pretty amazing spots - you will really get to experience the magic that this island beholds.

Whether you're interested in stunning landscapes, fascinating history, or just want to enjoy some Scottish hospitality, our retreat Wyld Skye Is a must.

The food will be amazing nutritious and delicious! Wyld Grace is passionate about healthy, nutritious food that will tickle your taste buds. The meals will be mostly vegetarian with the chance to try some local cuisine also.

Yoga with Laura Grace

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet..... After nearly 11 years of practice Laura Grace left the Ashtanga Vinyasa 'label' of practicing yoga. Still following the method and sequence but as set out by her inner teacher and not an external one. After the Ashtanga world was rocked, after injuring herself over and over by trying to force a method that did not work for her body, after being hurt by adjustments that worked against her body and not with it, after giving her authority away one too many times..... she left. Quietly and contently. She went her own way......

Laura has extensive experience running, teaching and hosting retreats. In fact it was her way of life for many moons and so it now comes as second nature to her. She is now exploring the hiking side of the retreats and combining her love of the mountains and being out in the wilderness with the practice of yoga itself. She is has completed her Hill and Moorland Training IBEX OUTDOORS and has just become a Hill and Moorland Leader - with Bryn Williams Mountaineering through the Mountain Training Association.

This means she is fully prepared to take people out in the wild. Having utmost respect for the mountains and acknowledging mother natures power she will recruit the help of a qualified Mountain Leader whenever the altitude gets high or the terrain gets rocky.

Intermediate Level **Hiking Guide

Embark on extended hikes with elevated terrains, tailored for moderately experienced walkers looking to push their boundaries. This is paired with slightly more demanding yoga practices to elevate the challenge and enhance your overall fitness. Expect to be out for 3-4 hours with some steep inclines.

For those wishing to hit a munro please let us know. There will be an additional cost and the ratio is 1:2 - So 1 Mountain leader - 2 clients. They get booked up very early in advance so please let us know with as much notice as possible.

At Wyld Grace we believe that getting out and about in nature is medicine for the mind body and soul. There is nothing like getting the wind in your hair to make you feel alive. Embracing the elements and accepting what is at any given moment, you can achieve things that you didn't think possible.
